BattleZone like volcano effect

Volcano by Lee Davison: a volcano effect similar to the volcano in BattleZone.

Bitmap manipulation DigiClock, a digital type clock

Bitmap by Lee Davison: shows how an image can be offset, zoomed and rotated using a mix of fixed point and integer maths.

DigiClock by Lee Davison:  a digital clock with both red LED type and blue/green VFD type colour schemes.

Raindrops on tiles Flame simulation

Rain by Lee Davison: a simple raindrop simulation with a patterned background. This is fairly slow but the source is not too hard to follow.

Flame by Lee Davison: a simple, double buffered, flame simulation.

3D drawing demo More raindrops

Draw 3D by Lee Davison:  a short 3D demo that renders a bounding box, a flat plane object and the normal to that object. The object is highlight when the front face is visible. Source is in both EhBASIC and assembly.

Rain 2 by Lee Davison: a development from Rain and features selectable palettes and a switchable background. While much faster than the original the source is correspondingly harder to follow.

The Matrix type screen Green bees chase red wasps

The Matrix by Lee Davison:  a simulation of the familiar green column text as seen in The Matrix series of films. This update for EASy68K 3.6 beta or above adds window size control.

Swarm Simulation by Lee Davison: has individual red target drones being chased round the screen by flocks of green drones. Target and chaser drone speed and acceleration parameters can be changed while the program is running. This update for EASy68K 3.6 beta or above adds window size control and treats the mouse pointer as a target drone.

Green bees chase red wasps Bitmap image loader

3D Swarm Simulation by Lee Davison: a Frankenstein like combination of Draw 3D and Swarm and has individual target drones being chased round a 3D environment by flocks of drones. This update for EASy68K 3.6 beta or above adds window size control.

Bitmap loader by Lee Davison: shows how bitmap image files can be loaded and displayed in EASy68K. It also demonstrates the new file dialog function of the simulator.

Maze by Lee Davison: just generates mazes. If you want to do anything else with them you'll have to write the code yourself or ask me really, really nicely.

Stars by Lee Davison: a swooping, swirling starfield with adjustable swoop (velocity) and swirl (spin). Requires EASy68K 3.6 or later.

Fractals by Lee Davison: allows limited exploration of the Mandelbrot set.

Land by Lee Davison: a simple fractal landscape generator. Once the image has been generated it can be saved as a bitmap file.

Band by Lee Davison: demonstration code that can be used to select a region of the current window with the mouse.

3D Wireframe Cube - by Charles Kelly, A simple example. Not very optimized. Use arrow keys to move the cube. Shift + Up/Down arrows to zoom in/out. Demonstrates use of Double Buffering for smoother graphics.

Evil - by Emerson Williams
Follows mouse pointer around on screen radiating lines.

Bouncing Ball - by Charles Kelly, A simple graphics example. "And now a word from our sponsor"
