How do we make A0 point at str1? Also easy. Just use lea str1(PC),a0. You MUST type (PC) after the label, otherwise it will not work!

I think this applies to FARGO(?), but not necessarily to EASY, where position-independent code is optional.
I think there are other code examples also using PC-relative code without explaining why.

If I come up with a list of documentation questions/wishes, do you have someone who would edit the help file?

Is there a reference to basic assembler syntax, such as how to form labels and comments?

EASy68K help: "Editor/Assembler Operation/Quick Start" includes a description of Labels and Comments.

If you have additional material to add to the help files I can draft some students during the next semester to edit the help system.

 Guess I never looked there... Maybe it could be retitled or cross-references added?

For suggested changes, is there a document format you favor, preferably one supported by Open Office?

I'm sure my students can deal with any of the common document formats.

Lacking the ability to attach files to a PM, could you or someone you designate PM me their own email address? Thanks.
