 Post subject: initialising variable

Hi,

I want to initialise a value

totalNumber = 0 at the start of the program.

How do I do that?

move the initial value (in this case 0) to the memory location of the variable...

For example:
move.w #0,YOUR_VAR_HERE

or just define it like this
Instead of:
YOUR_VAR ds.w 1
do this:
YOUR_VAR dc.w 0
