Hi

I'm having this problem with the output window

If I enter say 100 characters, only 80 of them would show up and the remaining are disregarded :?

Does anybody know how to make the cursor goes onto the next line?
so that if I enter 500 characters or more they would all show up on the output window? :?: :?:

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
newb

From the EASy68K help:
Trap task 2: Read string from keyboard and store at (A1), NULL (0) terminated, length returned in D1.W (max 80)

If you are using trap task 2 to to get user input the max number of characters read is 80. To read more than 80 characters of input you will need to write your own input routine in your program.

Put a carriage return and line feed character at the start of your second message like this.

prompt2 dc.b $d,$a,'Type your second input: ',0
