Hi,

The old Corvus Concept ROMs are on bitsavers:
http://bitsavers.informatik.uni-stuttga ... ts/Corvus/

However they are split into upper and lower srecords. I have not been able to merge them back into one file for easy68k.
Is there a simple utility for doing this? Could the upper/lower, even/odd, byte load feature be added to easy?

The Corvus roms have a simple version of MACSBUG and the Concept memory and display HW is not very complex, Easy68K might run the whole OS.

Bitsavers has all the documentation:
http://bitsavers.informatik.uni-stuttga ... s/concept/

Regards, mitch

EASyBin can be used to merge split binary files. It looks like the binary files are included with the download. If they were not we would load the Srecord file into EASyBin and save it as binary.

To merge the files do the following in EASyBin:
> Set Binary Input/Output Split to 2 Files - Every 2nd Byte
> Load the even address binary file.
> Set Binary File(s) First Address: $000001
> Load the odd address binary file.
> Set the From:$ address and the To:$ address to encompass the entire memory area.
> Select Save S-Record... from the File menu.

The resulting S-record file will contain the combined data from the two binary files.

Prior to saving the S-record file we might want to move the data to a different memory location since the address information is part of the S-record data.

Oh, and the rom images with the MACSBUG are in the /WSB-2/293-E0442-R/Processor directory of the bitsavers file.
