These are the features that I think might make EASy68K better.

Microsoft Word or RichText-like interface - You can change colors (even up to 24-bit RGB), sizes of text, tabs, and add section headers. You can also add a program header, too.

Add section headers - If you like to group different parts of your program together (graphics, math functions, music routines, etc), this is for you. You can decide on the color and style of your header (solid, patterned, or with an image), lettering (TrueType/bitmap font, size, color), and section number style.

Code folding and section folding - The +/- icons like in some help menus and C++ programs. Especially if your program is really big, you can focus on just one section at a time.

File compression - Maybe use an LZSS-style compression scheme to compress .X68 files, especially if they are really big. This is optional.

Make binary directly from source code - The S-Record and binary are generated at the same time. This is optional.

Label renaming - If you use a subroutine that has a lot of local labels, you can rename them such that the local labels appear in alphabetical (or numerical) order.

Jump to a local label - Normally, EASy68K doesn't allow this. To jump to a local label, use the global label name followed by a colon and then the local label name. (Example: Multiply:1 would jump to the label .1 after the label Multiply).

Code-as-you-go - Test code as you write it. In this mode, when you write a code line, that line compiles immediately. The process repeats for each line. You can then test it using registers and memory. This could be important when you have a long routine, or a routine with a lot of branches.

When programming, you can do it if you put your mind to it.

These are some nice suggestions. I really like the section headers one. It would be neat to have that.
